Engagements by NGB: Zac & Amy

Let me introduce to you....Zac and Amy.  Today's session was a very special one because this couple traveled a few hours to come to Chicago from U of I country!!! "Go Illini!!!"  So of course, we had to make the most of their time in town and took a nice long walk through the Lincoln Park/Zoo.  And boy did we ever stumble upon some hidden gems.  These two are such a sweet and laid back couple who appreciate photography and were just simply open to whatever ideas flew across my head....including a visit to the carousel, a rocky beach, and last but definitely not least, Dave's Records-- a vintage record store in Lincoln Park (check this out, no CDs sold there, strictly vinyl...how about it!!!!).  It was interesting to see the areas of similarity, and the perfect differences between Zac & Amy...including their taste in music.  We also had the pleasure of spending some time at the "Prefab Pavillion" designed by Chicago-based Studio Gang Architects.....this unique structure was a complete blast to play in, pose with and photograph....with a perfect view of the city's skyline, it was absolutely stunning!!!  These two love birds are both passionate about Christ and work in full-time ministry.....I'm humbled by their heart for college students.  We had absolutely gorgeous weather in Chicago this weekend, so this was truly a treat indeed!  I welcome you to their Snapshot.  I truly hope you enjoy! :)

Engagements by NGB| Steve & Erin

When Erin and Steve chose NGB, they had a disclaimer that "we are not picture people, and we don't really do the whole in front of the camera thing." Well, I am here to tell you that these two are so in love with each other that they didn't even get bothered by the fact that I had a camera in hand tagging along.  I felt like I was dealing with a couple who's not afraid to be in the spotlight, it was awesome.  Steve was such a natural and Erin followed his lead perfectly.  You will see in this snapshot that there is a love that cannot be hidden between these two.  I am so very excited for their wedding coming up and truly know that it's going to be special in "their kind of way". Erin and Steve, thank you so much for choosing NGB Studios and allowing me to "hover" on your walk in a very "unique" park, indeed!  Enjoy!
